Nope even though some places are so beautiful but all the restrictions,laws etc. won't make it.

i live in australia and ive visited america and i dont see whats appealing about it....crime, poverty, multicultural(sorry it doesnt work).

I've been to America a few times and I just don't see what's so special about it. The people are rude, a lot of crime, too many laws...it's ridiculous. I live in Ukraine & I would never want to leave Ukraine.

yea, its just perfect. the economy's doing well and it's not like people eat a lot of fast food and there are a lot of things about it that are worse then other countries.

no, i think it isn't. in my opinion europe is much better! hopefully america can improve with obama as president elect now! =)

Probably. The thing about the United States is that it's a big country with different regions that appeal to different people. Hot weather, cold weather, big industry, quiet farm, rude New Yorkers, polite Midwesterners... there's an area for everyone. The economy is struggling right now, but the standard of living is extremely high. Health care is expensive, but excellent. Government is widely lambasted by foreigners, by trustworthy and built on good, lasting ideals. Foreign policy is probably domineering, but is based on ideals about doing right in the world (believe it or not, Americans do care about others). Contrary to many stereotypes, America has exceedingly low crime rates in most areas, a very high level of literacy, and unusually low amounts of (overt) racism, religious intolerance, and other forms of overt discrimination. It has a rich history of accepting immigrants and blending their culture into the shapeless mixture that is American culture. Americans are proud to be American, and even with only a brief national history, are sometimes known to tear up at the sound of our (awesome) national anthem. America is not perfect, it is flawed. But it's a nice place to live, and you have a general feeling that both the people and the government genuinely want it to remain that way and get better with time.

the true answer to this question will probably never be found. everyone has their own opinions about other countries in the world. some think America is the best choice - some would completely disagree. different people like different things - culture, food, weather, education opportunities, etc. make your own decision.

personally I think no one country can be labeled as the best.
