yes it is haram but it is legally sold in every market in Turkey.it's between you and god government can't tell you what to eat or drink.Pork is also haram and it is also sold in Turkey.Turkey is a laic and democratic country unlike from other muslim countries. |

Arak is of course haram, man. If you make arak too much and get caught in the process they cut your hands off. In the 10 commandments, the 8th article orders: You shall not steal. Thus arak is not only a haram but a sin.
