Personally, I'd describe it as south-east European, though it's not far off being describable as Central European - e.g. Germany/Austria/Hungary/Slovenia.
The person who said there's not much further east than Croatia is completely wrong - Europe goes a very long way east, and these days I would only describe Eastern Europe as starting from the Russia / Ukraine / Belarus borders. |
