the answer for this Q ,is three parts:

part 1: Islamic laws does not allowed to the christian man to marry Muslim girls.

part 2: the Turkish people and family's don't accept this kind of marriages ,and for them its a very sensitive topic.

part 3: the Turkish civil law and regulations did not say directly in the law its not allowed to the christian man to marry Muslim women , but still the government don't let this kind of marriage to happened and make it very difficult ,because its a very sensitive topic for all the Turkish people in general.

so as i guess the conclusion answer for your question is : its not allowed to the Turkish women to marry a christian man in Turkey,even if a few cases happened.

I had lots of exposure to Turkey. I consider myself an expert on the matter.

In Turkey, religion has nothing to do with marriages. You get married at the municipality, by a civil servant. No religious authority has the right to marry anybody. No religious authority has a say over a marriage.

In Turkey any woman and any man can marry, of course with certain age limits.
Religion is a personal matter and state doesn't dictate how to or how not to apply religion in your matrimonial life.

For your question about islam not allowing a Christian man to marry a muslim man, I wonder how do you make a Christian man abide by the Muslim law.

Turkish law is secular, i.e. it is not based on Islam or any other religion, so it certainly does not forbid interfaith marriages. Whether or not the parents would approve of such a relationship is another issue, of course.

Turkey is a SECULAR state and they are the secret words (although the situation is a bit shaky now)... So, according to laws, ofcourse you can. Please dont ever mix Turkey up with the arabic countries in whinch includ those kind of rules...

Well in Islam , its not allowed unless u converted to islam.
and if she married u without conversion , then she lost her religon and shes no longer a muslim.

I couldn't tell you...but I don't think it would be a good idea. Because in my opinion Christians are not liked very well by Muslims anyway. And the idea of a Christian man getting married to someones Muslim daughter probably wouldn't go over to well at family gatherings. But if it were to happen I would say God bless both of them.

I don't think it's allowed but it depends on how strictly the girl follows the relgion. My boyfriend is a Turkish muslim and I'm definitely not either but he better marry me! lol.
