That's very, very close. You may make it but your luggage likely will be on the next flight. Try not to check a bag. |

Probably not enough time unfortunately. Especially if the airport in London is Heathrow. I'm not sure if you will have to go through passport control in London or not, but even if not it's a HUGE airport. If you have checked luggage then that also probably will not make it. |

If you're changing terminals in Heathrow, 75 minutes is the minimum. |

it depends on your last name and or nationality. |

Oh, when you are transfering, you are going transit, you don't need the full procedure. It's enough (I have been on flight transfer that took 10 minutes to transfer half the plane... the first flight was late. NO trouble). |

I don't think half an hour would suffice for you to check in for a flight. Security measures are tight at major airports throughout the world, and security checks take several minutes. Better be early, at least two hours. |

Check-In desks normally close 1 hour before, depends on airline and location. However, if you do get through, you need to be at the Gate with at least 20 mins before your flight as they then start taking on stand-by passengers - happened to me once, they wouldn't remove them from the plane for me! |

If it is a connecting flight then the other airline will usually allow 35 minutes. Sometimes even less if your flight was delayed. Most airlines request a minimum of 1 hour though. |

That is cutting it really close since the security checks can cause long lines nowdays. Call the airlines and see what they suggest. |

you did not mention where you're flying from..
general rule of thumb in the UK, for international flights, you must allow for 2hours (before your flight) check-in time and for domestic/European flights it's 1 hour.
35min is not enough as they close check-in 1/2hour before the flight. you also need to board the plane at least 20min prior to takeoff (not including going through security and getting to the right gate). they WILL NOT allow you to board if you are late even if the plane has not taken off (due to security).. |

no I think not an hour would be better |

you should allow 90 mins before flight |

it all depends on lines. if your limited to 35 minutes, it must be your just changing planes in london...if thats the case usually you dont have to do the whole check in again, you just have to get to your gate. and as long as your there and in line, the plane wont leave without you. just know ahead which gate your arriving at and which gate you need to get to. so that you can get off the plane and run there. 35 minutes is not really a short time, it sounds like it, but im sure its plenty of time to get there. dont worry, they always give you very little time, ive never had a problem, youll be fine. if your not switching planes and your departing from london 1st, i would give yourself at least an hour, if not more, cause if there are long lines or if anything goes wrong and your not at your gate, then your in trouble. |

If your baggage is checked through to Rome, you should have no problem. |

It is advised that you arive 2 hours before the flight departs xx |

If it is in the same terminal you might. Heathrow is a big airport. If the airline let you book it that way then usually they will hold the flight. Also mention it when you check in you baggage and usually they will stick a priority sticker on it. If worse comes to worse they will get you on the next flight, which there will be several to Rome so they will get you and you luggage there somehow. |

Don't forget to allow time for being held up in traffic - aim to be there at least an hour before final call |

Providing you have a through ticket AND a confirmed booking the ongoing flight should wait for you.
I hope you do not have to change terminals or worse still airports! |

you'd have to have the best of every thing happen to get through in that time, 1- 1.5 hrs. |

If this is a transfer, then you should be able to make it. They may even hold the plane a short time for you and anyone else transfering.
If your just planning on arriving at the airport 35 mins before the flight, they won't even let you check in! |
