Is it ok to send money to a russian woman so she can come to america to visit me?

Once again (this question gets asked about 4 times a week): If she really intended to visit you she would not ask for money. Instead she would ask you to help her with her visa. Getting her a visa would for you involve a long, exhausting battle with your country's embassy in Moscow and your country's immigration department. She needs a declaration of liability from you to get a visa to the US, Canada or the EU - unless she has that she will never come to see you.

If she just asked you for money it is a scam. You probably talked to a fat guy in his 50's with a hairy behind and a beer belly.

I wouldn't recommend you sending your money to anyone if she wants to come and see you ...you buy a fully flexible and refundable ticket don't set yourself up to be scammed ....I work for the airline industry and I talk to men all the time who send money to women who claim they have brought a ticket only to discover they only made a reservation (placing a ticket on hold) and have no intentions of coming to see them

I think you're better of just buying her a planet ticket. You're more likely to actually see her that way.

NO, tell the lazy skank to get a job!

NOLA guy
If she is someone you met via the internet you need to search "Russia dating scams" to see if you find her.

No Russian woman worth her salt will ask for money. Scam from the word go. Igor is usually writing to you. This is a fact. You need to go see 'women' in Russia instead.

It's a scam

no. I would guess that it is ok to send her money if you wanted. I have heard of things like this before. They are called mail order brides.haha That is illegal in the US so if you live anywhere else go ahead and do it haha

It's totally ok to send money. Aren't you man enough to send some dough to a lonely, probably, permanently drunk single mother of 2 somewhere in a god foresaken Russian village?
