It is safer than a lot of places but terrorism is worldwide if you don't go to country's where there has been acts of terrorism you might as well stay at home and lock the doors.People don't even think about it when going to Spain or Egypt where terrorists have been active for years often targeting tourists and tourist areas.

I just got back from Turkey a few days ago. It was a very nice country - very friendly. The worst thing we ran accross was people that really wanted to sell us rugs. Your kids will be fine :) Have fun and be sure to get them some Turkish Delight!

♥♥♥
yes i do think it is safe because turkey is a nice and relaxing place to stay at with family and friends. Hope this helped you

Everywhere is dangerous nowadays, not just Turkey. Weren't there also terrorist attacks on London and Madrid? And the Netherlands is also considered vulnerable.

Take the normal precautions before you go.

Id rather you didnt come to Turkey with that attitude please.

We like tourists with a brain not ones like you.

Don't worry about it. ofcourse there are terrible things happening, but not in the tourist attraction places and vacation spots. they are very well guarded.

You should be more worried about this sad majority of turkish people, since they don't have any education or opinion about the world, things which are very normal to you, like wearing a miniskirt, may be outragious for them : ) but really, don't worry about it. Just be careful and İstanbul is really so much fun.

And dont be alarmed when you get too much interest from the owners of the places you go, cos Turkish people are extremely good at hospitality. And, you'll love the food. ; )

Looking at what's happened in Iraq for the past 5 years and a half...
I'd say
it's dangerous for world peace that Americans go out of their territory

YOU STAY RIGHT IN USA
because you bring out terrorism everywhere you are going to
