Yes, he is Macedonian, from the Macedonian capital of Thessaloniki. He has a fascinating biography, and I will present here only the pertinent facts. You see, his parents were out one night, walking the streets of Kalamaria, it was late, and as they walked down Odos Sofouli, they decided to stop at Verona Pizza, you know, the one on the corner there near the Sofouli Center.
Anyway, this pizza was so delicious, it ignited the sexual desire of the couple, and they went straight home to fan the flames of their passion. Well, needless to say, a son was conceived that night. They decided to name him BRADYNH PITSA.
It's a funny name for a guy, I know, but who are we to judge. To make a long story short, when Bradynh went to Hollywood, his agent told him he would be better off changing his name, and suggested a shortened version : Brad Pitt. The rest is history. |

Yes...His full name is Bradislav Pittovski
He actually divorced Jeniffer Aniston because she was Greek
She kept telling him that Macedonia is Greek,so he could be with her anymore.
You shouldn't even ask,he is blonde and he has blue eyes....
But he adopted some Black kids to remind him his x-wife (she is Greek=Sub-Saharan)

I don't know about Brad Pitt but I just want to say to Ibrahim that the problem between Greece and FYROM is MUCH more than just a naming issue and cannot be compared to the examples he mentioned. |

Alexios Komninos

Of course he is. I was the one to answer this. Nicole Kidman also.
Not to mention Robert Redford as well.
Half of the Hollywood stars are Vardarskans.
But Eddie Murphy is Greek. Obviously why. |

Sure he is. He's blonde and blue-eyed, therefore he's Macedonian! Descendant of Aleksandar, Bucephalus, Zeus and the Czar Samuel (Samuil)! |

Heck no!!!
He is Epirotan, directly from King Pyrros's family line, like me.
Brad is a 3rd cousin of my mothers 4th cousin in law, who got married to my late great-great-great grandfather's niece.
And I was told that from my grandma's 4th cousin's housekeeper's son in law's sister's 2nd cousin gardener's shoe polisher. |

No, he is not, but I already saw guys who were much more handsome than him (and girls too, of course), and who were from all this region ( not only from Macedonia
By the way, I can understand the Greeks being upset, concerning the use of a similar name, but that's not such a terrible issue...That's just a name, anyway...
I don't think that Georgians are crying for the use of their country's name by one of the states of America.
And we Turks really don't care either about the Turks-and-Caicos island which "dares" using our name... |
