The iphone is a phone, and you pay a monthly cell phone bill around 75$. The phone costs 200-300 with a 2 year contract.

The ipod touch is the same as an iphone, but more expensive, and it doesnt have mobile internet or a phone.

well. the iphone is obviously a phone, while the ipod touch is just an ipod. both hold songs, videos, and can access internet (i think) and both have a touch screen but the iphone you can use as a phone.

you can make phone calls on the iphone and yes you do have to pay for internet each month. nothing's free!

Yes. An Itouch is simply an Ipod, however the Iphone is an actual phone version of the Itouch.

The only difference is you can make phone calls and text message, etc. from an Iphone

any where there is wi-fi you can get the internet on the itouch.. but the difference is one is a phone and one isn't..

the itouch is cheaper than the iphone because (1) you can't make phone calls with the itouch, and (2) when you get the iphone, you have to agree to a service contract with AT&T for 2 years, which in turn means you can buy the iphone at the discounted price (I think the full price of the iphone, if you don't buy it with a cell phone plan, is over $500.) So, that's why the iphone SEEMS cheaper than the itouch.

You do have to pay every month for internet capability (it's called a data plan) - it comes out to like 30 bucks extra on your regular cell phone bill.

well considering that the iphone is a phone and the itouch isn't, the iphone is worth it. my friend has an itouch and he doesn't pay for the internet.

well they just came out with the new itouch and a new iphone.
the iphone is for making calls to people like on a telephone, so that is probably why it is cheaper (they make the phone cheap, but make you pay more for the calls)

It's probably cheaper because when you buy an iTouch you are just paying for that like any mp3 player. However, phones like the iPhones are often relatively low prices because of the fees involved with them. You will most likely have to pay a fee each month, including usage for calling, messaging, and internet.
