La Isla Bonita by Madonna, playing on a bus in Guatemala

Travelling by bus in Guatemala is a special experience. The buses - old schoolbuses from the States, painted in bright colors - are mostly so crowded you can sit "in the air" in the isle, held up by the people surrounding you.
One time, after hours of hearing the same merengue songs over and over again, I got up and gave my tape of mixed music to the driver. When 'La Isla Bonita' came through the speakers, everyone cheered up (this song they knew!) and started to hum along. That moment was so great!

Trotsky vs Kerensky- НекIо!
Godfather soundtrack *Speak softly love*

Makes me remember my high school love. It was the last days of school and there were not many students in the class room. He was walking with his hands in his pocket and then 'Speak Softly Love' started to play (they were broadcasting music from loud-speakers) lol and I swear everything was in slow motion, the pages of my book started to move as the wind blew and my hair flew out and he turned his head. Ha ha I'll never forget that moment =)

Now he is no longer the sweet kid in high school, he's got long hair, piercings and he always dresses in black. (I don't even like him now) Ahhh what have you done to yourself dear boy... *sign* memories...
