It is not on any of the Travel Warning lists and should be perfectly safe.

I went to Olu Deniz for 2 weeks last year and it was great. I've been to Turkey 4 times now and would go back again. There wasn't any problems when I was there but you never know whats going to happen whereever you go. x |

There have been more bombings in the tourist areas of Spain than there have in Turkey but you never hear anyone asking how safe is Spain!
Turkey is brilliant and I have to wait until next year to return!
Enjoy your holiday and don't give bombings a second thought! |

There was a bombing in Ankara in May, during which 8 people lost their lives. I went there a week later and went to that shopping centre. Everything seemed so quiet. What is more, there was even more security in Ankara, so I felt quite safe.
I don't know where you live, but would you postpone going to NY city, London; Madrid etc.? All these places, and many more, have been victims of terrorist attacks. London buses and underground was attacked. I was there last year and used the buses and the tube. Believe me, there are more PKK terorists in Brussels, Belgium than in Istanbul, let alone Olu Deniz, which is swarming with tourists. A friend of mine from Prag is going to Olu Deniz with her mother in July. I wish we could join them, but we already booked our tour for the Turkish Black Sea coast. We are looking forward to our ten day coach tour of the area.
Go and enjoy yourself. The only danger will be the sun! Take lots of SPF 50 sun lotion with you. |

Turkey is a great place for holiday. Do people stop going to Spain, England,USA,Corsica because of the bombing that they had? Or are you afraid to go to France after car burning events?
So why are you afraid of Turkey?
Oludeniz is a wonderful place. Beach is great, people are friendly, must visit historical places.
Have a nice holiday |

I travelled to Turkey shortly after 9/11, and it was one of the best holidays that I have ever had. The people were lovely, we saw some fantastic places, had great food and there were very few other tourists.
Yes, there have been a few bombings in Ankara in the past, but remember that you are in no danger from terrorism. Turkey has it's share of internal problems, yet tourists are in no more danger than anywhere else, ie. you may be robbed, you will pay more for a taxi than you should, and you should be careful about getting sunburnt. |

Qu'est ce que tu pense?

Of course it is safe. Whoever told you that there was a bomb warning was wrong. There was a bomb about a week ago in Istanbul...but that's about it. You'll be fine and have a nice trip! :-) |

Turkey is very safe unless you decide to go border line and see the terrorist camps in Iraq. Touristic regions don't have any risk of terrorism. It is a mistake thinking Turkey is a middle east country. |

Hmm, I went once and would never go again. We found syringes on the beach, were offered cocaine whilst walking down a street, attracted attention from strange men (me and my sister were very young children) and one man even tried to get my sister to go with him. |
