Friendliest: With the exception of France, they are all about the same.
Language: Spanish is by far the easiest and Italian is quite closely related.
Most expensive: Parts of France and Italy are very expensive.
Least: South of Italy,
I would move to Italy.

1. France. If you are willing to try to speak a little french. they then love to practice their english with you.
2. French, I remeber it from school. I have forgotten the little I learned to holiday in Italy.
3. A toss up between France and Italy. Country living is cheaper than cities.
4. France! |

Well, if you're looking for friendly, stay away from Paris...no. I've heard they are nicer these days...finally figured out it was profitable to be nice to tourists.
Seriously. I think you'll find really friendly people everywhere.
I think Greece is least expensive. Italy and Spain have really gotten up there, and about equal to France (which has always been pretty expensive)
The trouble is...what is cheap in terms of going to visit, and making a living are two entirely different things. If it is inexpensive to visit Greece using your home country's money, then, conversely, their money isn't worth as much, or people don't make that much, and then, making a living while working there is more difficult.
If you are independently wealthy, you don't have to worry much about them having a healthy economy, only your own money. |
