There are jerks and good guys in every country. The turks are no better nor worse than asian guys in this regard. The only difference is that some turkish guys will not be embarassed making a girl pay (entirely) on the first date.

P.S. If they love each other you should let them be. Some people search for love desperately yet never found it. Love is a precious thing.
