People shouldn't care so much about what others might think of them. I admire every 80 year old in a bikini, because she says to the world "I don't care that much about what others might think how I look like". We're way to obsessed with the way we look. If we keep wanting to see only the perfect, this won't even be an issue anymore, because a 48 year old can look just the same as a 20 year old in a bikini, thanks to plastic surgery.

Mom is 60 and she still wears it and it looks alright.

Her excuse is ; if she wears a one piece, her belly stays wet and causes belly ache :P

I think there shouldn't be a limit for this. Bikini looks perfect on Ajda Pekkan who is 100 years old or so!!

My personal opinion: I love seeing ladies in bikinis. The point is do they feel comfortable in it? Is the body suitable for a bikini? Age has nothing to do with it. As long as a woman has a nice fit body with minimum amount of fat in those usual places, she should wear a bikini.
Another thing is health. A wet swimming suit is not healthy for ladies. So they can easily change a bikini, or the bottom part of it. Also very easy to use the toilet at the beach.

I don't think there is any age limit. It depends how you feel comfortable with your body. By the way, a bikini is also healthier, because it doesn't keep the cold water on the abdomen.

Doesn't Turkish women wear bikini? I think no matter how old are you, you still can wear a bikini if you like.. the difference is just for other people, as if you are old..you may not look so pretty as younger girls in a bikini.. well.. if it makes you happy..sure can wear bikini at any age...

No just kidding, that totally depends on the person.If she thinks she look good still,and be comfortable in it,she can wear even in her 60s.(which i wouldn't prefer to see)

I think the force of gravity would be the answer to that question.. Though Im used to sein mid aged women in bikinis, thanks mom (they gather around @ the summerhouse), i find it extremely uncomfortable...

I mean, wear a burka for all I care, but do not run around in your 40s with a bikini (extra points for Brazilian bikini wax though)
