Portoroz area by the Adriatic coastline (Slovenia) is one of the best I have visited so far! Cheap, not too crowded, great weather, friendly people, etc.

I think Greece is always a nice relaxing holiday, try Kefalonia,Skiathos or Crete...but theres lots of different places to try of course. The weathers good, foods great, beaches nice and not too busy and it always feels safe, the Greek people are really nice and friendly.

Hope a great hol wherever you end up!

Madeira. A Portuguese island off the coast of North Africa.
Climate is good all year round and full of flowers and plants of all description again all year round.
It has a very, very low crime rate and you can go out in the evening or night without being pestered or abused or mugged.
No beaches(except in the neighbouring island of Porto Santo) so there is no so called "beach culture".
In Funchal, the capital,English is widely spoken.

I know its a worry.......... but if u live in the real world . you just have to take your chance and do it.
There are wonderful beaches in the UK hidden away that are safe especially if u r young and can climb down to them.
And in southern Spain there are ... spanish hideaways that they dont tell us about ... (can u blame them) hidden on the southwest coast that are out of this world...They are so far exclusive to Spaniards and they dont give out tooooo much info to try and keep them to themselves.... however on these beaches there are no toilets or showers or cafes ..... just sand and sea and plenty of rocks....
then in Australia...similar...
etc etc etc loads of places if u search

Alot of folk these days come to the Spanish inland pueblos. Here it is so peaceful, the air is clean and the night skies are so clear the stars look amazing. The village atmosphere is tranquil and usually the bars and restaurants very welcoming, thou it is best to have a smattering of Spanish. Not much English spoken inland.
There are many lovely mountain properties, most of which have pools available for rent. All year round. Avoid Spain in peak season as the temperatures are extremely high, especially inland, unless you were a lizard in a past life.
