You'll have to get out of Europe - most of Spain won't be hot enough. The Canaries might be a good choice. They are off the coast of Africa but aren't too expensive to get to. |

The Gambia is quite warm in December and it's only a 6 hour flight away. It's the same time as the UK so no jet lag. Just get a flight to Banjul and a taxi to the Leybato Hotel. They have beach huts by the sea, absolutely lovely. Or if you want all inclusive get a Manos Gambia brochure from the travel agents. |
