the greek islands...in the summer are perfect! Krete,Korfu,Santorini and many others...all are great.
You should visit Athens and go to Parthenon and to the other great museums. There are very beautiful places also in Peloponisos. An other idea is to organize a trip to a mountain..the countryside is beautiful!!

We have stayed om Zante, Really lovely. If you want nightlife try Laganas or Zante Town. If you want it a bit quieter try Tsilivi. All are really nice places. |

The island of Zante, Zakynthos in Greek, is gorgeous! I've also been to Rhodes - stayed in Faliraki (was 18 and had just finished A Levels and was FANTASTIC!!) and Kavos - that was a mistake....... It's also known as Chavos so I think you can get the picture! But seriously any of the Greek island are fab whether you want party or peace you can't go wrong! =D Have fun!! |

Crete is brilliant. There are great beaches in most places (One was used for the Bounty advert with the palm trees many years ago) and the people are very friendly to the british because of WW2. Food is excellent, local beer good, very civilized and I was never worried about being out at night. Problem is you will gain a lot of weight with the food!
Our children thought it fantastic and even preferred the beach to the water park. |
