Moody Turkish Boy!!? |
Why are Turkish boys so moody??
I've just come back from my holiday where I met up with one of my Turkish (male friends) We got on well all the time I was there but on my last night he wouldn't wait with me until my coach to the airport arrived and wouldn't say goodbye properly (no kiss, hug, nothing!!) I called him while I was on the coach and he says he did try to say goodbye but then he sent me a text saying not to call him ever again! I have been friends with him for 3 years and can't understand why he seems so angry with me? He said he has a girlfriend now (but he hasn't) but I have a boyfriend and we are just friends so I can't understand what the problem is. He always seems to be angry when I am going home???? Additional Details Just to say that I'm not generalzing or meaning to cause any offence, I just haven't experienced this kind of behaviour anywhere else or from boys of other nationalities so I was wandering if it was a cultural thing i.e. do Turkish guys hide their tru feelings more? would he be worried about what his friends would think if he did seem sad that I was going home etc... |

He obviously likes you. He made up a fake girlfriend just so he doesn't seem lonely. Either that or he just likes you as a friend, but finds that you are spending too much time with your boyfriend than him. He might be a bit jealous. Just let him cool off and give him some time to come to you and talk about it.
Good luck! |

the story is missing
I guess you skip some facts..
I'd like to hear HIS version of the story as well
I bet he's somewhere around telling his friends how
the (--- put your nationality here----) girls are always whining here and there |

you shouldnt really judge people by where they're from. we should be judged on the context of our characters not where we are from. i am half turkish and i have lots of turkish boys as friends and their not all like that. |

Just don't call him if he doesn't want to be called. Why do some girls insist on *understanding* everything? ("Why did you do that?", "You don't like my parents!","Why didn't you wait for me?" "Why don't you say I love you anymore" "Do you think I'm ugly?", "you LOOKED at her, liar!" "Where have you been?") Come on give the guy a break. If you have a boyfriend, good for you, just forget about the moody Turkish guy. |

I do not and cannot know what it happened between you too, however, I do know that being moody is not about being Turkish as it is all about personality.
Although to ask about a " Turkish " boy is wrong as it is not genetic, to ask the same question and write " Turkish boys " over and over is offensive. |

i dont think you should throw away your friendship if you've known him for 3 years already. why not try phoning next week?
:)
not all turkish boys are like that ;) |

Maybe he is hiding his actual feelings? This attitude is very old-Turkish-filmish. |

My ex also wants to see me but I fear that I'll be also moody so I just avoid her. Funny thing is that I was the one dumping her so there is no hurt feelings on my side. The same situation happened also with my previous ex's. I just can't be cool with someone I was in a relationship with I guess... |
