It is each person's choice to shave whatever body part or not to shave. As long as everything is clean, what does it matter? If your friend prefers her men "smooth," then perhaps she is looking for a boy, not a man. Facial and other body hair is a natural sign of physical maturity. That actually is my response to any man asking me to shave any part of my body. Think of it this way "love me? love my body as it is."

I think that shaving the armpits is more hygenic, it doesn't matter whether you are male or female. When you sweat, it smells if you ave hair but doesn't so much if there isn't hair.

Are you sure this man does not want to do this as it may offend some religious or social rite for him?
