Due in October with #1

My husband is from Russia and I still don't understand where his anger comes from.?.?

My husband is From Russia and his anger is like that I have never seen before. I have never seen or dated any man with his type of anger. If he gets angry at me he will pin me against the wall or will hold my wrist down to were I cannot move.
While we were dating, he never showed any of these signs EVER. But now he punches holes in the wall, screams and swears. When we got engaged, his mother said
"Watch out, Sina has explosive anger just like his father, that why we divorced in Russia." His mother told me that back in russia, his father used to hit her, scream and swear and push her around. He has Never hit me, my husband said that seeing his father hit his mother makes want to be a better man.
However My husband is turning exactly into what his mother described..I feel trapped

It's not necessarily because he's Russian, but there is something in the Russian male psyche that is causing a lot of grief to women all over Russia (and beyond). I think that some - not all - of these men are conditioned to think that heavy drinking is a sign of manhood. Heavy drinking (and/or drug taking) leads to terrible mood swings, leading to arm swings, foul abuse and worse.
No woman should be trapped in a marriage or relationship where the man is abusive. Please contact a women's support group or refuge - or even a citizen's advice bureau - for advice, which you'll need to weigh up before making up your own mind about your future.
All the best to you - I feel for you.

I'm sorry that you have such a lousy husband, but you have to remember that it's not the country that makes the man an @sshole, but the man himself. Why did you marry him, if his OWN MOTHER said that he has anger issues? That should have been a red flag right there, since mothers usually see their sons through pink-colored galsses. I advise you to first try to notice what makes him angry and ameliorate the problem, and if that doesn't work out, get a divorce. Don't wait until something worse happens. In the mean time try to be as non-confrontational as you can.

P.S. This question would have fit better in "Family&Relationships", since it's a personal problem and really has nothing to do with Russia.

DONT GET TRAPPED
get out now
while you still can

Tell him to get some anger management counselling or your leaving!
No woman should have to put up with this kind of abuse. ESPECIALLY from a man who is meant to be there for her. This is sick, disgusting behaviour. Why did he marry you? I hate this, men want relationships and then can't nurture them.(sigh). Been there, done that. It's draining on your nerves, screws up your self esteem and over a longer period of time will destroy your soul.

You should have listened to his mother and not married him in the first place!

Mother knows best.
Sometimes, people have an alter ego that they act upon subconsciously.
You HAVE to speak seriously about this matter to your husband---directly. And if he's not willing to change his ways, do what his mother did before it escalates to an even worse situation.

His country of origin has nothing to do with his abuse. Get out now. There is no reason to be trapped in an abusive marriage.

My grand ma bashed grand pa when he sweared on her once,he never sweared more, just hit him...

i wonder where your stupidity comes from.
did you ask yourself that you might drive him crasy?
why dont you seek for professional help?
dont you realise that your husband learned to show his love like this because thats what he saw from his father?
its common knoweledge.
dump him if he hurts you dont be stupid.

That might have nothing to do with him being from Russia, my friend's ex used to be like that! He also punched a hole in a door right next to her head.

Please get a divorce, don't feel trapped. Get someone to help you! What you're describing you're at risk!!

it is hard to give advices on such complex issues as family relationships, especially having in fact only little information. still, based on what you have said here i say divorce him. the way he treats you is not right and if it runs in his family then it is not going to become any better over time. i hate to break it on you, but sometimes the only right thing to do is to cut your losses and move on.

the anger management councelling that someone above suggested is just a bs (no offense meant to the person who made the suggestion). if a man is not able to resolve his issues on his own no amount of counceling can help.

I don't think this has much to do with the fact that he is Russian per say, but because he is a human with anger problems. I would try some sort of therapy if he will agree to it. If not then perhaps you should just take a separation.

Kerosene instead of vodka can be harmful for the brain

Take him some of his kerosene and fly away -
