get a new one it only takes about 2 weeks to arrive or if you go to the passport office you can get one the same day

WEll I applied for a renewal of a passport. the turn around time from posting application to getting new passports was only 12 days.

So i would suggest applying for a renewal.

Restrictions

1) Entry is refused to holders of passports issued by the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Other nationals whose passports bear stamps or visas for TRNC may enter Cyprus, provided the stamps/visas are cancelled by the Immigration Authorities of Cyprus
2) Travellers who have entered Cyprus via the TRNC, will be refused entry into the government control area of Cyprus. Leaving the government control area of Cyprus via the TRNC is also forbidden. The legal ports of entry are the airports of Larnaca & Paphos & the ports of Larnaca, Limassol, Latsi & Paphos
3) Holders of Former Yugoslav Republic`s passports bearing a renewal stamp with the name Macedonia. Entry is only allowed to holders of Yugoslav passports without this stamp

if you are from an EU country you don't need passport,you can enter the country just with your ID but if u r not u better run and renew it.

You need to renew it. if you have a U.S. passpor visit , www.travel.state.gov
This site is a government agency where you can download forms and fill it out and mail. It will also tell you what to do step by step and gives estimate time when you can expect to receive your renewed passport. Just click on passport renew.

you can get a passport issued on the day by making an appointment at the passport office and paying the appropriate fee for the speeded up service

i know here we can go to our nearest passport office which is edinburgh and you take a number and they do it for you there and then, just check where you nearest passport office is, i have done this before and know people to go there on day of travelling. happy hols

There are a number of things you can do ..all but one are illegal,the ONLY way is to get to the local passport office ASAP to renew.

If you are a US citizin you can renew by mailing in some paperwork with your current passport under certain conditions. $67, more if you want to get it back faster. I just did it. Follow the steps at this web site:
