Go by train

See the website Seat61 - http://www.seat61.com - which gives details of how to get anywhere in Europe by train

Four years ago my husband and I went to Greece from the UK via train. It was an incredible trip - probably the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. Get the night train from Paris Percy station. We arrived at Bologna early in the morning refreshed, then took a train down the east coast of Italy to Brindisi where we caught a ferry to Patras. We had such an exciting taste of Italy and met various people on the train. The scheduling is supurb. The only mistake we made was making the same trip on the return. We should have gone up the west coast to see new sites. Try it you will love it honest

book yourself a cruise .you will not be dissapointed.

You could try taking the train if you are in the U.S. and take it to the French part of Canada :)

You pretty much exhausted your choices unless you want to take Amtrak which just sucks.

? BlueBerry ?
take the ferry

Drive - go by Channel Tunnel and drive around Europe! Or take a cruise liner from one of the English ports - My brother got to Oz without flying or taking a coach (bike and boat) so the world is your oyster as they say!!

petra
Swim, go by ship, build a raft, and when you get there- rent a car or walk.

laplandfan
yeah it's called staying at home *LOL*

You will need to fly or go by boat to get abroad.

What about ferry over to Spain.

Let the train take the strain - you can cover the whole of Europe - including the UK - don't forget the Channel Tunnel.
