definitely Vienna Austria, there is tons of architecture and on the plane in you get to see the tops of the alps and a mix of western/eastern europe there is tons of architecture, gothic stephansdom cathedral, baroque karlskirche and Hofburg, and tons of museums, art-Belvedere and Kunsthistorisches Museum (art history museum) and lots of history, i would guess that there's night life but i'm only 14 and I only spent a weekend there
and you don't have to rent a car or anything just use the subway which is really awesome because it goes EVERYWHERE and there are trams and buses and horsedrawn carriages

you'll LOVE it, especially all of the funny german street names |

What about Malaga? The architecture is amazing, it's on the beach and you can see the mountains, all along the coast, there's salsa, cuban, flamenco music you can watch or join in, if you can come over the week of Easter there are processions every night that are famous throughout Spain, the food is excellent, the climate normally is good, but in March you take a chance, same as anywhere in Europe and the people are friendly. The prices are good in comparison to other EU countries and the flights on about 15th March are good. Wherever you go have fun and enjoy yourselves. |

Mmmm....if its just for 4 days, then go for a city break, Barcelona or Palma maybe....plenty to see and do, and fairly warm to!! Or how about Gibraltar? Fantastic views from The rock itself....and ypu can actually walk through the rock, with viewpoints all over it!!
I noticed someone mentioned Cyprus....but I should warn you that although it can be warm and sunny here in the daytimes.....evening temperatures can drop quite dramatically....and in March, theres not a great deal open......most places are just starting to open up for the Summer season at the beginning of April....and only really get upand running properly in May.
( I live just a short drive from Agia Napa!!) |

Real weird place - Iceland!
Friday night life in Reykjavik is like nowhere else, they are mad at enjoying themselves! Expensive but worth it!
Go out in the snow in one of their big 4 wheel drive vehicles - will scare you to death / exhilarate you at the same time.
Go on the Golden Circle trip, Geysers, bubbling mud, Waterfalls, US/Europe fault line etc.
Go snowmobiling!
Go and see the vegetable greenhouses, surrounded by snow - heated by geothermal hot water water from the centre of the earth!
Their cathedral is beautiful.
Their hot water storage tanks on top of the hill look like a moon station, worth a visit to the Sat. pm market and watch the geyser just ouside!
Go salmon fishing in the river - in the middle of Reykjavik!
Eat their hot dogs (they are everywhere) which are best in the world.
With any luck you will see the Northern Lights - now that is better than any festival!
And finally the Blue Lagoon. The most unique experience you will ever have of swimming in a volcanic pool of hot water outflow of a thermal power station! It looks like you are entering Dantes Inferno (in other words - HELL) as you arrive! |
