So long as there are naive and gullible young women, there will always be women who are vulnerable to getting tricked into prostitution. I've gone to some prostitution education sites, and the usual trick is, a friend, neighbor, or relative will tell an unsuspecting young girl that she knows someone who is hiring for an office clerical position at a distant city, and they're willing to offer paid training, and will provide lodging and meal assistance. The offer is too good to be true, and women jump at the offer. When they arrive at their destination, they're lured someplace where to get to know their employer they need to do drugs. The women become addicted to drugs, and must sell themselves to support their habit. Another fate that awaits them, is they're beaten and raped, and are told they, and their loved ones at home, will meet a similar fate if they don't do as they're told. The women are traumatized and believe their lives depend on giving full cooperation. Police in other countries who do little to help these women are often under-paid police officers, who subsidize their low salaries by accepting bribes from prostitution rings. So long as there are men with $$ who are seeking quick sex, there will always be a demand for prostitutes. The only way to put a stop to this exploitation is to legalize it, and to offer social programs to help these women into getting job training into more respectable professions. I know for a fact that a lot of the women who work at Nevada brothels are using the $$ they earn to fund their expenses, while attending classes at the nearest college.

You post very derogative posts about Russia with every chance you get. What is your problem?

Majority of prostitutes in Moscow and Turkey are from Ukraine and Moldavia. They have nothing to do with Russia. If they speak Russian among each other it doesnâ€™t mean that they are Russian.

Zosya (a poster below) appears to be right on the money about you. You clearly have a problem with Russians; perhaps you had a negative experience with a Russian woman. She did not like you, hah? Well, such things happen and you need to realize that posting dirty comments on the Internet will not solve your problem. Your problem will not just go away. You may get a feeling of a temporary relief, but it will not solve your problem completely, as it does not address the causes and the roots of your problem. On the other hand a good counseling can help in your case and depending on what country you are in it may even be free of charge. Even if it is not free in your country I still strongly suggest you to consider counseling, as it is likely to be just what you need. On a different count, you should not assume that you are being anonymous when you post your comments on here (this is what yahoo says).

BTW, you made me really curious and I really wonder what country you are from. You appear to be in love with Turkey, but judging by the ignorance of your comments about that country you cannot really be from there. So, tell us where are you from (and where are you at right now). The world (and myself) wants to know.

It's getting better now that the economy is booming. Even now, statistics show that more and more Russian women are working, and making good wages, too. My guess is that the more oppurtunities there are to make a good living, the less people will turn to prostitution, crime, etc. The situation with Russia in that respect is getting much better.

Concerning prostitutes, and concerning the way you speak about all this I can tell you that their fares which are always higher show that the trend is in slow decrease.

I do not imagine ONE woman in the world going to prostitution only for pleasure - so your question is a self-answering one -

To answer your question, prostitution will never cease because it is the world's oldest profession. You won't expect a prostitute to stop and become a businesswoman just because the economy is bullish. Several factors determine a person's rise from poverty but it doesn't necessarily mean one industry will suffer decline because there is a market for them. If ever, one retired prositute will be replaced with another hungry one especially those eager to find that dream of landing something like a better life, etc.
