For the hearty eater, there's an entree called Riistafl served at Indonesian Restaurants. They fill your table and a side table or two with a tureen of soup, a big bowl of rice and a couple dozen side dishes and sauces. I've had it once and it is a truly awe taste fest.

An example to the rest of the world that prohibition never works in the long term (proved by they have less kids on drugs, a lower hard drug problem AND less crime than almost all western countries, including the USA and UK).
Its a shame our countries don't have the guts to try something progressive....
oh, you said tourists, well I suppose my answer still counts as they take the experience of that in practice with them

It's in Holland and Holland is used to fighting with the sea for living space. I see a way to build floating cities, and make them self sufficient and profitable, as much as any city can be. Now, with a crew of people with that mindset, I think I can get it done. Other recruiting places include, England, Japan, Hong Kong, Cuba, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and various refugees camps around the world. Of particular interest would be boat people from anywhere. It they're willing to risk their life to be free and willing to work hard for it (not necessarily the same thing) then maybe something can be done...
Grandiose enough for you?

They have legal 'squats' where you can live in any house that has been empty for longer than a year and get cool people to come and share the experience with you or join one that has already started. There is a squatters bar called the Frankrijk on the Nieuwzids that you could go to and find out more...
