Mothers bring us into the world, look after us, see to our needs. The least we can do for them is return whatever they did for us when we were young.
You should be thankful she wants to go with you, your feelings must refelct in your behaviour!Thats a shame.

Post cards there cost around 1 euro, but that depends on the size and place where they are bought. My favourites are the "Holland Images".

it is all up to you but i would think that if you took your mother then all the cool things that amsterdam can offer will not be there wilst your mom is

I see no reason why you can't take your mother to Amsterdam.

You might get a few euro's for her in the red light district - some men like that you know.

And then you'll have even more money for postcards.

postcards are 90p and its even cheaoer if you bring it home and post it then, just blame royal mail when you get home. amsterdam is not a place for mams.

Well, I just got back from Amsterdam with my 83 year old mother and it is a good thing she is open minded and has a sense of humor. It was a first time for both of us and we both had an eye opening experience. She went into one of the coffee shops to see what they were doing and then I got her to pose with the prized reefer plant outside. Thank God she is cool or I would have had plenty of explaining to do! Hearing about it is one thing, but actually seeing it is mind blowing.

And why isn't it a good idea for your mum to come Amsterdam with you are you ashamed of her? Give your mum the best time in Amsterdam and show her that's she's worth it?
