she is , I am sure, in all our thoughts, and please God, let her be found safe and well.

Lets just hope se has been taken by a family who has lost their own child,or perhaps cant have children of their own, and they have taken her to look after her.....perhaps if thats the case, the guilt of taking her will become too much, and they will give her back

I think that the whole world is praying for her and for her family. It is so very sad that you cannot go on holiday abroad now without the fear of someone taking your children. It has come to something. You are not safe even in your own back garden. What has gone wrong with this world.

This tragic situation has affected a lot of people here in the UK, many many people are hoping she will be found safe and well.
I so very much hope so, the poor parents are in a desperate state, as any parents would be.

I think everyones thoughts are for the child, but I would like to think that the parents would get a severe thumping from family close to them . . . It really boils me to think that people think of the poor parents when they abandoned the kid to go out and enjoy themselves in the first place

I don't pray because I'm not a believer, but my positive thoughts her way and her family's, and my strongest wishes that she turns out safe soon. I'm a Mother and a Portuguese, this affects me both ways. Her parents must be in a living hell, and at first I was making excuses for them (I never ever let my children so young alone even asleep) but I saw the resort on TV and frankly, the restaurant isn't exactly next door, there's a swimming poll in between, and I doubt they could see the apartment at that night time. Plus, the waiters denied that they took turns to check on the kids, theysay they never left the restaurant. Anyway, this is affecting the image of my country, and in the end the kidnappers are British. It isn't fair. But in the end none of this matters - the only thing really important is that Maddie is alive and returns home.

Please god bring a miracle for this child and her family.
Please don't let them have to pay a massive price for thinking the child was safe. Why should we have to look over our shoulders every second.
Please let them learn from the mistake and have back the child in their arms.
I'm sure things will change so much.
I will pray until she is back with her Mummy and Daddy.
I will also pray for whomever has her and pray they have to think twice about doing anything bad to this little girl or any others.
I know she is alive and wants to go home badly.
God please put our minds at rest.
We will all learn hard from this. Amen

I am lighting a candle for her now. Please God keep her safe from whoever is holding her - Jesus loves the little children, and would not want any of them harmed. Pray he will give her a protecting angel.
