Poland The Most Beautiful Country In Europe !?

I haven't been to many countries, but for me Poland is the most beautiful. I live in PogÃ³rze RoÅ¼nowskie, which is a hilly area, however I live close to the Beskids and from my house I can see the Beskid mountains, and it's beautiful. Sometimes when the weather is good I can even see the Slovak Tatras and it's breathtaking. Yes the Polish sea and lakes are great places too, but nothing is better than mountains in my opinion. And I don't need very tall mountains to be satisfied, the mountains in Beskid SÄ…decki and hills in PogÃ³rzach satisfy me very much. There are so many magical places here in southern Poland. And the Polish cities are beautiful, KrakÃ³w is my favorite city in Poland.

Well clearly you want the answer to be "Yes, Poland is the most beautiful", but I am going to be another one that begs to differ

Poland is beautiful but sorry it does not have the same panoramic landscape as the Alps. Also the tourism sector is not geared up to the volumes of tourists as Switzerland & Austria are.

Poland is lovely but I have seen the same kind of landscape in other central European countries as well, and nothing unusual in forests, lakes, mountains etc

Norway - well you cannot compare Poland with Norway. The unspoilt nature and scenary are unique with the contrasts in green open, with snow filled mountain tops and fjords. Norway is gorgeous

I understand your bias, but try to keep an open mind. Unless you have personally travelled to and experienced all of the mentioned countries at great lengths then it is wrong to dismiss them with comments like you made about (e.g.) Norway and Germany

Europe is a continent of many beautiful countries and not just one. Poland has a lot to offer, but in my opinion is not the most beautiful from the ones I have seen, no.... sorry!

EDIT - as I said, I speak from an unbaised point of view (my home country not even mentioned!). Of course I can sit and google pictures of the Alps, Norway etc that are 10 tens more "beautiful" & find ugly pictures of Poland........but there is very little point if you are not open to learning and so clearly what your statement to be correct (why come on Answers then other than for self-gratification!)

As I said, get out there, visit each of the countries and respect them for what they are. When you have seen them all first-hand, then form a view, but in the meantime please do not dismiss the opinion of those who actually have!

I actually found Switzerland, Austria, German area to be some of the most beautiful sceneries in Europe, and not to mention Italy as well. I enjoyed poland, but what I saw wasn't as beautiful as the other places I visited... would I visit Poland again, MOST DEFINATELY! But to say the most beautiful, no.

Yes, my parents are both from Poland and I was there a few times. The landscapes are amazing.

I have to agree with Mac on this one, but to be fair it was a short trip. I will definitely have a more thorough look around next time. I did see lots of model looking women though maybe I should count that.

Edit: Oh I am sorry I thought this was a question where you were interested in other opinions of Poland. I didn't know it was actually the only answer you were looking for.

Ya you have great looking beaches to the Baltic sea and the landscape is beautiful. The old city's like Gdansk. and the forests are so thick and cool.

I'm half Polish and i visit there every year. Yes it is very beautiful indeed.. but not the most though... there is Germany, Italy, Spain, the Alps....
