Krakow is beautiful because it's old and has a lot of culture. It also has cobblestone streets and a castle downtown. It's full of exciting little shops and restaurants.
The tri-city is three cities Gdynia, Gdansk, Sopot and is in the north of poland by the baltic sea. It's also beautiful there.
I personally don't like Warsaw as I find it to be a cold city, people don't speak to each other, everyone's too busy. A lot of the buildings have been destroyed through the war so it doesn't have much history left, just a lot of new buildings.
Krakow's more laid back.

Warsaw is the biggest, if that's what you mean...
I would say Krakow, Gdansk and Wroclaw, because they are the most interesting.

Warsaw.

It has a little bit of everything. There's something there for everyone!

Personally, I think Krakow. It's cosmopolitan but not too big. There's lots to do, good restaurants, shopping, good accommodation. Lots of attractions - Auschwitz (of course) and the Wieliczka salt mines. Nice, friendly people.

Warsaw's ok. To be honest, other than the old town, I didn't find it very interesting and it's really big, hard to get around.

k_malwina
Warsaw 'cause its capital of government and Cracow (polish Kraków) 'cause its capital of culture.

Warsaw? I'm not sure if that is spelled correctly. A friend of mine is from there.
