I would pick Iznik and my topic would be 'Colors of Turkey'.
I would first present the colors of the city and surroundings in the different seasons, then take some people in traditional costumes, go over to markets and show the colors of the vegetables, fruits and spices. Then explain about the history and importance of Iznik ceramics and show a lot of colorful tiles!

Totally Blunt

Even if it is just a visual and probably audio presentation, I would find some original books like Local Cuisines of Turkey and Local Music of Turkey and, I don't know, Unique Flowers of Turkey and whatever, mix them up with local photographs, not necessarily of touristic places, and prepare a presentation that reflects the diversity of Turkey, sand and sun included.

In my idea, thinking of what you like about the country and trying to reflect it will yield more original and attractive results.

Ok, to get away from the 'classic' Bodrum/Antalya theme, I would choose to show Ankara, that capital created from a village, by people whose hearts were big and full of love and courage. Ankara, where AtatГјrk sleeps forever.
I would also show the beauty of the Black Sea region, that unspoiled nature and the wonderful people.

Specially i would like to talk about Zeugma antique city.

I would place emphasis on what is appealing all-year-round in Turkey as well as fun in the sun. Turkey has so much to offer to persons interested in historical, culturural and social affairs.

Cappadocia is starting to be the mountain bike capital of Europe and Asia... So, we can't just place emphasis on the coast.

I would either use the old Byzantine remains(the walls, the churches, ayasofya..) because it gets the attention of Christians or I would use the natural beauties like Pamukkale... You could use the Greek remains too.. We actually have more Greek remains than more people know..
