I dont think it would work so well even if we the greeks wish the best solution.Cyprus(southern of course)has a very strong economy.Being united with Greece, maybe would make her lose a part of its income..
Dont forget also that many places you have in the public sector would be taken by greeks, since as a united nation they ll have the right ot come and work there..
It will contribute to unemployment.
I am greek as i told you, but this would not be a solution, taking in consideration the casus belli with Turkey in this case |

i'm a greek cypriot and i do not wish enosis with Greece, as long as we keep the Greek character on our island
everything else is needless to do for now...
i'm curious to see some answers though ... :p |

"Southern cyprus is Ellas" - no, it is not.
It is Republic of Cyprus.
Cyprus is Cyprus of Cypriots : Greek-Cypriots, Turkish-Cypriots and minorities.
We are in EU and it means we are united with all European countries, Greece included. Enosis for what then?
Nationalistic questions are provocative and there is no use having them all the time. It does not help in today's search for solution of Cyprus problem. |

I am Cypriot |
|

Is that all there is?
 |
I do not think Cypriots want that because of economic mainly reasons.
We still consider Cyprus Greek.
Wanted to also say: Thank you for all your effective help with the fires brothers. It was "siginitiko". |

It is a moot point. Both are part of the EU. |

What I wonder is, the issue is an international one. One that concerns undermined Cypriot Turks, not to mention the guarantors of both ethnicities. So, why is the question directed to Greeks and ONLY Greeks? What would change if 100% of Greeks did want what you dream of? Why try to stir up feelings about a difficult subject and make it more difficult? This kind of rhetoric divided the island. How much more division can they take?
I can only guess that you have no other business to attend. |

You are Greeks, of course, but enosis with Greece as a state is quite impossible. We are connected in our hearts, but I think this sort of union would only create problems. |

Hey, Gone M: Question is "for Greeks and ONLY Greeks", why do you answer? Oh, yes of course, because you are FYROMian, -hence fake Macedonian- and you desperately want to be real Macedonian, therefore Greek. It makes sense... ; ) |
