Really Cheap Airlines? |
My friend and I are thinking of going to Barcelona or somewhere really warm in Europe over the October Holiday (20th October - 24 th October) but I'm having trouble finding a cheap flight. i reckon it's because we're booking so close etc, so does anyone know of any good airlines (I've tried Ryanair, Easyjet and Whizz) and also nice destinations in Europe that are cool to go too and nice and warm with prices that won't break the bank?!? |

You don't say where you're flying from, so I'll just include this link which is useful for identifying budget airlines between two cities. This is a good resource for identifying budget flights within Europe: This is a good resource for identifying budget flights within Europe: http://www.whichbudget.com/en/cheapfligh...
Make sure to check alternative airports that may be either near your departure or arrival city. for example, from London Stansted, you can fly to Amsterdam on EasyJet, but there are also flights to Eindhoven on Ryanair, or Rotterdam on Transavia which could be cheaper. Since either Eindhoven or Rotterdam are easy, cheap train trips to Amsterdam, it's worth checking those options. Similarly, the various airports around London offer varying budget connections to different parts of Europe. Similar opportunities apply at other locations. |

Here is a little known fact - all these budget airlines have a wee thing going on - they dont advertise their CHEAPEST fares! Follow this link - its by the money man Lewis that you see on the tv. Its a great tool that will scour the cheapest airlines, and find the fares that they havent advertised.

Source(s) I went to easyjet website - fare was £120 - i used this tool and the same fare with easyjet was only £60 |

You don't say where your starting from so no easy answer. I guess your in the UK (Why else would you try Easyjet or Ryanair).
One suggestion would be to try the Olympic Airways site and Visit Cyprus or Athens (or even both).
Ryanair usually ups it prices to coincide with school holidays so you are unlikely to find a good deal there.
