There is a UK Holiday Park Website that you might do well checking out, stay away from big brands like Butlins as these are not low budget holidays even though they look tempting, you would do best having a caravan or chalet from Park Holidays UK, they used to be called Cinque Ports Leisure, sort of Felixstowe area. Well if you want to spent sometime in Greece then DO avoid Athens, Mykonos and some other places that there no or few budget solutions. If you want to spend some time close to the sea, you can select small islands in the Cyclades, but do this quick because such destinations are becoming quite popular.. Lesvos island is a big one, not expensive to travel there, go out and for accomodation as well. Evoia island is something you may try (it is just an hour drive from the Athens airport).

Please note however that those islands are big, so, if you wanna see the whole island you must hire a car. You may find a beach to stay there and relax without spending much.

It always depends on what you want to do. If you prefer to go up in Greek mainland in the mountain, you can also find some budget solutions..

Try to be a little more specific and I can help you out for sure. I have been all around Greece, at all times of the year.

If you decide to visit Greece, there are many charter flights that are really not expensive, especially if you book them early.
Crete is a good solution because it has many things you can do. You can of course entertain yourself in greek tavernas, pubs and clubs, but if you really want to save up money you can easily explore the magnificent landscapes just with a bus ticket, or visit one of the long sandy beaches with a couple of beers and get yourself tanned!
If you even wish not staying in a hotel, although you can easily find really cheap ones, you can just go camping!
Believe me there is nothing better than laying on the smooth clean sand next to a fire with a couple of beers watching the stars with your friends.

Collect tokens in the sun newspaper. They are doing holidays for Â£9.50. Holidays can be around England and i believe some locations are in France.

Go to Bulgaria, private bed&breakfast in Ahtopol - if you want to go to the seaside. If your choice is the mountain, hiking and possibly fishing - then try Tryavna or Elena in the Balkan mountain (run a search on these names for details). You might not even need a reservation - most locals are offering accommodation.
I bet you wouldn't find a better ratio between money and quality anywhere else in Europe. Enjoy!

Well you can try the Azores, there is a flight every Tuesday from London to Ponta Delgada and it is not that expensive. As you get to the island of S.Miguel things there are not at all expensive and the island is so beautiful lots of British people come here. Well if need any help let me know. Happy holidays.

there is an island called ikaria which my family is from. it is very cheap to stay there and beautiful! though it might be a bit tricky to get to since its really close to turkey. i reccomend the airplane from athens. although you can take a boat too. whichevers cheaper. tis really slow there though. no big cities. just samll towns. about 2000 people on the whole island.if you like that kind of thing you will like it a lot. learn a little greek though. the essentials. it will help. have fun wherever you go!

first of all you have to tell me where you live, so i know what all is around you and stuff like that.

Go to malta.
It is hot all year round and I live in North London as well.
got flight + 4 nights from Expedia for Â£210 to Northern Malta.

But it is quiet i.e. not that much to do. If you want to sit on a beach and relax then it is cheap.
