Qu'est ce que tu pense?

Russia won Eurovision?

Congratulations to them, although I wished one of my top 3 won :( Oh well, Russia was in my top 10 anyways...

How fair do you think the results were this year?

Eurovision = stupid contest.

Why ?

Because :
" We are friends, so I give you 12 points, and you also give me 12 points, ok? "

Although i think Greek and Armenian songs were better than Ukrainian and Russian songs, and this " hey neighbour here is your 12 pts" system sucks, we should bare in mind that stage shows also kick in to determine the best song. And Russia had the best stage show.

carina
the voting was so political ... but then it always is

Çetin
hi candy,
my favourites was :Türkiye,Greece and Azerbaycan but only Greece won .
This is only musical organisation ,i would congratulate all the countries not only finalists...

ՎԱՀԷ
Congratulation!
It was a beautiful song and very beautiful show, but I think it didn't deserve the first, it wasn't really the best.
But I also loved Ukraine, Greece and Armenia which came second to forth.
I also liked Turkey's song I think this song deserved a better ranking.
You know, rankings are not important and always just, for example I think Slovenia was just great but it didn't pass even the semi-final, on the contrast the Bosnia's song was a rubbish but it passed! (I think - my idea - you may not agree!)
However the important is that the beautiful songs will always be remembered, weather they rank 1st or 10th :)

If you notice, you see most of Russia's points was from the Slavic and ex-Soviet countries, so you know what I mean that rankings aren't always just.

Turkey gave 10 points to Armenia, Thank You Turkey ;)

..Tolia..
in this years competition there were many many good quality songs, songs of different music categories!

Eurovison 2008 had it all!

Personally i do not recognize the win of Russia,

they were mostly voted by ex-soviet union countries

totally unfair, totally childish totally ridiculous!

I agree with Austria and Italy, they left the competition because of those "music alliances"

Thus I am very satisfied for our song (Greece) we reached the 3rd place!

congratulations to the other countries and thank you everyone for your votes!

i am so sorry we didn't give any points to Turkey :( I dont know why :( I really liked the song and I voted for it!

lilly
I think that wasn't the best song and also was very angry when I saw them winning last evening, but I am also disappointed in Europe and their perspective about it. Now a new divisions are being made, West / East, old / new..pure stupidities.
As I remember (I'm from Serbia, former Yugoslavia) and we participated in that contest for more than 30 years and won never until the last year. West Europe wasn't complaining on unfair votes when they were the ones to win it, and we always saved the place in the end of the scoreboard. The point is, many Eastern European countries just entered the competition for the first time and its important to them, others never won before, also its logical that ex-Soviet and ex-Yugoslav countries vote for each other cause they have the same music scene (Dima Bilan is a star in whole Eastern Europe as i understood), so there is no place for soar grapes. That contest should be fun, enjoying the differences and everything what is the essence of Europe.

Is it really that much important who actually wins it at the end of the night?!

For me definitely isn't

Totally Blunt
My three favorite were Turkey, Croatia and Sweden. Sorry, Russia didn't deserve to win. The song was too ordinary.

But the show was good, the quality of songs in general was better than last year and it was FUN!

And I'm sure Mor ve Ötesi has won many more fans than they had before. I bet especially Harun won't be able to walk in the streets comfortably again. :)

Vasiliki-Βασιλική
i didn't like Russia's song,at least not so much to win the Eurovision.
Our song(Greece) was better, maybe Kalomoira's voice is little bit annoying ,but her performance was the best

I would really prefer to lose from Ukraine or Armenia or Turkey than the bilan's song

personally,i voted for Turkey's song,but.......

and yes i do agree that is kind of political but remember.....
Finland-Greece-Turkey some years before,
they are not supported by easter blocks......

I believe that if a country has a really good song will win,if the song are so-so then allies make the winner

It's a scandal !!!

All the Slavic countries gave 10 or 12 points to Russia, regardless of the song quality.
That's unfair.

And the song which should deserve to win was Greece , with a beautiful song and a gorgeous girl : Kalomira " My secret combination"

i think that the song from russia sucks
dima did much better job 2 years ago with " never let you go"
now the song was kinda weird

i though that kolorima from greece will win or ani lorak from urkaine

ISIS GEE from my country ( poland ) did really well but she got robbed
she was the last ( 24th )
i think that its all politics now

Salva
My favorite was Greece, I also liked Ukraine, Serbia, Turkey... and of course, SPAIN!!! hahahaha. Poor Chikilikuatre, just got a sad 16th peak. :((((( lol

I'm disappointed. First songs really were bad.
Russian singer hasn't voice and song was not well built, Ukraine singer was beautiful, but her voice,..., Greek try to repeat Helena Paparoutsu, bit she isn't neither 5 % like her, maybe she was good for child Eurovision.
I voted for Turkey
My favorite songs were from Turkey, Island and Norway
I'm also disappointed of Greeks who screamed UUU!!!on Macedonian song, from one side they say not mix politic, but probably that rule is not for them, only for us.

greetings_losers
Renowned aşş kişşings. thx to the abundance of ex Soviet States thats how the result came up. Not that song and ice skater himself was bad.

Yo Salva, the only 2 songs that linger in my mind from the night are from Spain and Latvia. I like Spain's song and I dont understand why Lordi of Finland can come first but Chikiwhatever cannot. I like Latvia the most with their pirate theme.

Momo summarized it pretty well along with Trotskaya, and hey I look better than Harun :P

It was really a lame song, sorry. And Greece song was not good either. The singer was a bad copy of Britney Spears. Ukraine had a nice stage show but that was it. There was better songs that deserved to win. But Eurovision is never fair. We all know it.

nemosmich
just look behind all of this!!!
do you know GASPRO? that's why russia wins!

Russia's song was horrible, simply horrible. Their show was even worse...

Estland, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Ukraine had some of the worst songs that I have ever heard in my life.

The best songs were the ones from Turkey and Bosnia. Still OK were France and Norway.

Nevertheless, I had expected these results more or less.

MaCeDonIan PhaLanX
depends from witch perspective you see them!
If you are Russian, fer enough, if not..... you know the answer:)..!
My greetings to Russia! It was about time to win, for long time she has good songs on Eurovision, even this year was not soo good, but if we have to choose between Russia and Greece, definitely RUSSIA!

I wanted Russia to win if Turkey or Azerbaijan didn't. Of course Russia didn't deserve it, I don't even remember the song. The song was ordinary, the guy was ugly and the only thing that was interesting on the stage was Plushenko. I hate these former USSR countries, why do they ALWAYS have to give 12 to Russia?! Russia doesn't even have to send a song, they are always in top 5 every year.

I wanted to kill that girl representing Greece, what on earth were those cheerings and kisses to the camera? She was having some sort of a nervous attack each time she got 12 lol.

Anyways, who cares, our song and performance was GREAT. The band is my favorite band and I once more recalled why I was such an ardent admirer of Harun Tekin during my highschool years. He looked very nice *blush* =p Kisses Harun, call me =p

Maybe rain, maybe snow
COMPLETELY FAIR ! I knew it that Dima would win ! He deserves it ! And Russia deserves and Russians deserve it)))

So see ya next year in Moscow ;)

Good job Dima ! Thank you for winning !
