The truth is that both Greece and Turkey are touristic countries for a reason: they are beautiful, hospitable and worth visiting! So whatever anyone decides, I am sure they will have a good time.

I think both are safe places.But if you compare Turkey & Greece both, then for travelling Greece is best places for travelling. So, first you have to check detail information of both countries from site http://www.stayresgreece.com, http://www.stayresturkey.com. I hope it willbe helpfull for you.

Of course I appreciate veeeeery much our neighbors and since I have visited Konstatinople(oops ...sorry but I am deeply influenced by our history!)people were very gentle and polite and helpful!Now,the fact that you gonna have holidays here is quite good!Of course,you don't have to worry about anything...no terrorists no fear!But I wouldn't say that Turkey is sooooo dangerous as you describe...
Anyway.....you made the right choice !
We all expect you to come and drink together a greek ouzo or tsipouro or treat you a delicious souvlaki!

i could'nt a gree with you more barbara..you made the wise choice. who needs lukumi.(turkish delight).when the lukumi is right there on the beach all golden and adonic.with a smile that says welcome to our safe country. .....and i belive these days you dont have to pick up a phone to cancel...you can simply DELETE from your computer..some people really have to keep up with the times i tell you.. ....
