I went both of them. First I flew to Paris and stayed one week and flew to Turkey spent two weeks. It was amazing and I want to do it again.

Unlike many people here, who say "oh go to Paris" without having seen Istanbul, I can wholeheartedly suggest you to go to Turkey as a person who's been to both of the places.

Eiffel tower isn't really anything magnificent, it's a joke that it was nominated for the new 7 wonders of the world. Paris is very beautiful, no doubt, it would be an awful display of unfairness if I choose to say otherwise, but it is overrated so much that when you go and see you're like "Oh that's it?". It doesn't look very different than other European cities.

Istanbul, on the other hand, will give you a chance to get acquainted with the Turkish culture which is very unique, you'll see nothing like that in any country in the world. Also people are very friendly, food is superb, prices are reasonable and the weather is great.

Both lovely place to visit but Paris is a city and Turkey is a country. There are lots to see in Turkey. I don,t know what kind of holiday you want! If you like history Turkey is one of the best country to visit,if you like sun,beach,sea then Turkey is one of the best country to visit. I think Paris is more like to stay for couple of days but in Turkey you need a week min. to see and a nice holiday and also cheaper then Paris and friendly people around.

I went to Paris 2 years ago. Parisians are very rude and arrogant. I've got a French flat mate but she is lovely. She told me that people who live in Paris very aggressive. I stayed there for 3 days. I wouldn't like to go there again. But it is a very pretty city. You can still go, it will be a different experience for you.
When it comes to Turkey, I love it. So good.

They are both nice places. Though preferably I love Turkey. I went to Turkey every year and then decided to live there. This was 10 years ago and have not regretted it since. There is so much to do and see. Historical, Beautiful, Hot, (though winter is much colder than Europe) people are friendly. Religious (if your into that sort of thing) tourist attractions, Tours etc etc etc. Turkey is a very big country and every thing is so cheap to buy. Have a great time wherever you choose.

I'd strongly advise you not to go to any muslim country or in this case muslim city and country. You are not safe there. But if you do go, go to Turkey because there are probably less mosques and less muslims there than in Paris alone.
