Should I go topless at the beach? |
We're going to visit my cousins in Europe. All the girls go topless at the beach, even the mom. I've never done this, but I don't want to be the only one who's different. I have a pretty nice figure, but it's hard to imagine being topless in front of the whole world. Has anyone experienced this? What do you think I should do? |

If you aren't comfortable with it, then don't do it. On most European beaches you'll find plenty of topless women and plenty who have tops on. No one's going to care one way or the other. |

You may well find that very few people still go topless. I've certainly noticed a big decline in recent years, accompanied by a big rise in thongs. More and more 'nice girls' are ditching the topless look in favour of the thong, and it tends to be a higher percentage of middle-aged women than young women who go topless these days.
That said, if you are on a beach where most girls your age are topless, you may well feel more comfortable adopting that look.
So I would wait until you get there, and then make up your mind. The best thing about the topless look is that you can make up your mind on the day whether or not to keep your top on. The main thing is to make sure your bikini bottoms are thongs, as that's the in thing at the moment. |
