In Turkey, There are people who don't really practice Islam, who don't practice Ramazan, who never go to mosque...But anyway they are Muslims "culturally"...
All men are circumcized, and nobody eats pork...But you cant' force anybody to wear heardscaf, or to go to Mosque...We are free...

And please stop boring us with your fundamentalist propaganda...

I know you are not Turk...And I am sure that you are not even Muslim...You just want to divide Turks, so I suppose you hate us...

Pork is 1% in total meat products on sale in turkey so it really doesn't matter much.

I hope not. I like pork. I am not Muslim. I have lived in Turkey and I eenjoyed the fact that I could practice my religion there. If that was the case how about no Turk lives outside of a Muslim country because they have pork. this is backwards thinking my friend. I dont think it shoudl happen.

No, as it's a secular country and people can eat pork and drink booze if they want to. Besides, Turkey produces its own pork anyway. If Turks didn't want it, stores wouldn't sell it--and that goes for any other foreign food item that people gripe about as well--i.e. Starbucks, McDonald's, Burger King, etc.

of course not what the silly question. If don't eat pork it doesn't mean that everyone in Turkey does so. So my answer is no Turkey even more should produce it's own pork for export and own country.

I want to be free to eat waht ever I want

and of course I eat pork

as a tourist to your country
I say it is a possitive think for you to provide people a lot of choices

and respect of culture and habbits of others

My friend Pina she lives in istanbul and she love's pork, infact when she comes to rome visiting me she can't get enough, becouse is so difficult to find it there.
Why you want to stop the importation? Pork is good and there are people from other religions living in turkey (for example 130,000 christians)

I'm circumcized, I don't eat pork, but I'm not obliged to pray 5 times each day...

The most important is the FAITH, the PEACE, the TOLERANCE, the LOVE, the RESPECT, the DIGNITY, the HONESTY...

And in Turkey we can practice Islam without breaking laic rules...We are free...REALLY MUSLIMS, REALLY SECULARISTS...
