Should i go to greece or japan?

It depends on what you want to see. Greece would be better for the summer and it also has comprises some of the most famous destinations in the World (Santorini, Crete with Knossos etc), Rhodos (castles etc), Athens (Acropolis etc etc)...
Japan is a wonderful country, it has another kind of beauty. So, you will have to take into consideration 3 factors, a) the persons you want to be with and b) the kind of environment you would like to see and...c) the expences you're going to have if going to Greece or Japan.
But for a summer destination, I think I would prefere Greece (even if I wans't Greek) and I would go to Japan on the Spring for example.

I think you have answered your own question. If you can go to Greece next summer with your best friend why miss a chance and wait two summers to go to Japan? Think of Carpe Diem and the chances you may miss, it's better to do all of the things (if possible that is) in the nearest future. This summer go to Japan if you can go to Greece next summer. Don't miss a thing.

Oh and guys this is not about which country is better (personally far east is not my cup of tea) since he can still go to both countries, it's about which opportunity is better for him. He's asking which he should do first.

Both are very beautiful countries, I think it depends on what you want to see... They're very different.

Something else I want to stress, just because our section's regular troll mentioned it: There's absolutely no risk in visiting Greece, it's one of the safest countries in Europe (very low crime rate). Yes, there were protests and some riots in Athens and other cities during last week because a policeman shot a boy but things have calmed down and NOBODY has been dead/injured. Because sometimes media exaggerate and trolls try to spread false rumours ... :)

well you posted your question in the Greece section so obviously you are going to receive biased answers. I would say Japan i was there last summer and its really cool it reminded me a bit of New York. To Greece you can go next summer but since you have to wait longer for Japan i say go for Japan. I am sure your best friend can wait.

I cannot really advise you on that.
I am Greek and is my dream to go to Japan.But also Greece is a canot-miss country.

And the fact is that Greece and japan are tottaly diferent as countries.

Well I guess you must consider if is more important to you to please your friend or you dance partners.

That's a tough choice but I second Zoi's opinion that Greece is at its best in summer (June & July, too hot in August). You are guaranteed to have a great time on the Greek islands.

Iv always wanted to go to Japan,but since your friend is going to greece,the right thing to do would be to go with her.

If that doesnt go ahead,and its a straight up greece or japan choice,go to japan,you would be crazy not to.
