Should the US get involved between Georgia and Russia?

Here is a perfect example of how screwed we are in America. We really have nothing to do with Georgia or Russia. Georgia is begging for the United States to help.

If we help, then we are imposing our beliefs on the world - yada yada yada - and we will once again stick our nose where it does not belong.

If we no do not help, then we will have to watch as Russia conquers Georgia and takes control of their land - I know it was once part of the USSR... I am not sure how much Georgia is to blame - if they are committing genocide then Russia should go in - on the other hand - I am an American and do not get much of the facts.

I personally feel torn. Part of me says stay out... let the rest of the world deal with their own problems. The other part says if we can help then we should and it is out responsibility to do so... regardless of how the rest of the world sees it.
