No, for a start we are British and by British I mean we are our own people with our ownn minds so we should take orders from no one! Secondly the Euro is strong at the moment against the pound but it won't always be like that, When England gets back on its feet the pound will be much stronger against the Euro but not just that but sterling is one of the strongest currencies going and is very strong against the Dollar amongst other currencies around the world whilst the Euro isn't. Lastly but not least a lot of country's in Europe actually now want out and to be able to go back to their currency. Sweden voted no and since then have not looked back whilst a lot of countries now realise how stupid they've been.

well the first answer is partly right, it is homosexual money but not used only by France. The whole European union uses the euro to promote economic stability. The european union only takes countries with a good economy. And another little thing: WE HAVE TO BE IN EUROPE!

I think we should get out of the EU, It's costing us too much already. But then again if we join the Euro my pension would be paid in euros and i could afford to spend more time in France. Nah lets get out and leave Johnnie Foreigner to his own devices.

No we shouldn't. The pound has served just fine for over a thousand years so why change. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

No because we would lose control of interest rates, inflation &c. At least with Sterling we can make our own mess

No i don't, our currency is OUR currency, why feel the need to conform to other currencys just because it makes it "easier"

no i dont think so .. the only reason y they made euro is so that all the currency would be the same thruout europe. im from czech originally born n raised till i was 11. im 23 now .. and its the best thing that could happen to alotta countrys in europe. its not easy over there.its really not just about the money being a part of euro is like going under their wing. they take care of u in a way.
so no i dont think the usa should be apart of it .. its a totally different continent. it wouldnt even make sence. if anything they should make $ equal to euro.
