Souvenirs? |
I am going to Greece and Italy this Summer. I would like to bring back something for my family and friends that you can't get anywhere else. It will have to go through agriculture because I live in Hawaii, so it can't be anything "live". Any ideas? Thanks!
P.S. I'm on a medium budget, so nothing too expensive!

Bring back a boyfriend, the best souvenir from Greece! :-)
When in Athens, go to Monastiraki area (just bellow the Acropolis, next to Syntagma Square, center of the city, can not miss it) and there you have all kinds of souvenirs for all kinds of budgets. Icons, statues, gold, pictures, a lot of stuff, I am sure you will know what to buy when you will be there.
From Crete buy some olive oil (the best!) and some tsikoudia (local hard liquer).

Well girl I will only have to inform u not to visit any of these called "touristic shops".They cheat.They sell nothing for something..or even if you do be carefull.Try places where other greeks shop.Don't choose the ones specially designed for foreigners.I used to work once in a similar shop at Monastiraki.I wish you have great endless vacations! |
