To Francis S: as many people said, Turkey is not Arab! Arab is an ethnicity, but most Turks are ethnically Turks. There are muslims in the Balkans, but we don't confuse them with Arabs, don't we?...
BTW, I didn't enjoy the nightlife when I visited Istanbul since I had to wake up early, but its nightlife is well-known all over the world, with lots of bars and discos. And yes, tourist resorts like Antalya or Bodrum yes. I wonder if there is a lively nightlife in Ankara or Izmir too. I'm afraid they're too tourists-oriented :-(((

Turkey is not so arabic at all...
Eastern Turkey is way less developed but Western Turkey has some nightlife in the tourist areas - usually buzzing with the tourists though

I'm sorry to disappoint you but Turkey is not an Arab country. It is predominantly Islam but being Islam does not make an Arab country. So you will be visiting a middle Eastern/European country. Nothing to do with Arab. Nightlife is excellent. Have fun.

Turkey has a great nightlife and Istanbul is a capital of nighlife, southern part of turkey has a great nightlife too.
