This winter for christmas break i want to go to europe...should i go to london or australia?

i dont know much about london but i am a reality tv junkie and love mtvs real world...right now they are in sydney australia and it looks amazing....the show goes through nightclubs and restaurants they go to...it also shows ppl they meet in the area so it gives you an idea of what the town is like...looks like a blast...good luck!!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Australia in not in Europe!
If you want cold weather and grey miserable days, then London.
If you want to eat your Christmas dinner in your bikini at a barbecue, then Australia.
No competition I think!

Australia is the big island in the Southern Hemisphere, that's nowhere near Europe.

EDIT : Yeah......Sydney's in Australia. Which then, obviously, means it's not in Europe either....

Don't worry about the geography. London, which is in England, Europe, will be cold. Parts of Australia which is in the antipodes will be hot.

If you like winter go to London. If you like summer you have to go Australia.

go to London because it is near to Europe. You just need to ride a car in the tunnel between England and France or take a tunnel train.

AUSTRIA (no "al" before the "ia") is in Europe and very picturesque at Christmas time (especially in places like Innsbruck or Salzburg - plus the views of the Alps from either place are stunning). London is also nice at that time, from what I've heard, especially on Oxford Street (shops are nicely decorated).

December in Australia, which now you know is not in Europe, actually marks the beginning of the rainy season which carries on to about April so I don't know if you'll be able to enjoy it too much. In any case, you won't have any snow or cold weather there!

If you're looking for a warm place for the Christmas break where you'll be guaranteed more sunny days, go to Mexico, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, or any other Caribbean island - cheaper and all offer plenty of good snorkeling / scuba diving, crystal clear waters, and beautiful white sand beaches.

Europe? London. Or if you want to branch out and - gasp - go to another continent, you might want to try Sydney. Just remember that it'll be stinking hot (although most of the storms are in January, and the real humidity is in February) all over the country (ranging from about 25 on a cool day to 45 celsius - that's 77 to 113 fahrenheit), and we regularly have severe bushfires around here. There's no snow here, it's mid-summer!

Yeah, just go to London. I'm not sure I want someone who doesn't know that Sydney isn't in Europe in my city!

Go to Australia. It will be summer in December. The UK/Ireland is really miserable that time of year.

. iwud say Australia cuz not a lot of ppl can say they've been there n i've always wanted 2 go there...but since its christmas a snow-covered london sounds relli amazing...but australia is relli hot so u might wanna go during christmas...hmm i c ur problem...im going more towards london cuz mayb it wud b better 2 c australia in the summer....mayb u shud flip a coin no lol....i think u shud make a pro n con list....but i think london wud b better....
o n BTW australia is its own continent/country...its not in europe

If you want a cold winter go to England.

If you want a hot winter - go to Australia. As it will be their summer.
