you have to give certain best answers in a certain category... for example under Turkey section, if you have the best answers then you can be a top contributer... i was a top contributer and later on i earned 50 points from a different category with my answers and lost my top contributer level under Turkey section... haha |

I don't really know either. I'm a top contributor in languages. I answer a lot of questions under that category. But I'm not a top contributor in Turkey section although I'm in the top 10 list. I think it's not about the numbder of best answers but about the number of questions you answer. |

If you click on Blog which is on the top right written in blue under Web Search, then once in that page look on your left and you will see TAG CLOUD, look for Top Contributor and click on that and you will get all the information. I bet it will be hard since many people are in the Turkish section. Check out Brazil and see how easy it seems to be there! Good luck! |

Actually i was shocked when i learned that i'm the top contributer,i think it's not about the best answers,it is about the questions that you've answered cuz i never expected to be a top contributer unless i'm a level 6 :) just answer lots of questions but nice answers,not like yes,no,ok ... |

I was thinking about the same thing the other day. I also wonder how one becomes a top contributor. I usually answer in Turkey, Ethnic food, wine,beer etc. and sometimes in history. This past week I earned a lot of points. At the moment I have more points than Tanju, but he is a top contributor and I am not. (kıskanmadım ha, hayırlı olsun.)
I guess it's a complicated system.
