I live in Belgium and I traveled by Eurostar to Belgium (after being on a holiday in London... ^-^
It's true what the others say about the French speaking part of Belgium...even we, the Flemish, don't like them very much...
But the Flemish side of Belgium has a lot of beautiful things to see, the food is nice, there are hundreds of different beers and the people are very nice...
We all speak English by the way...
So come and visit us, I'm sure you'll have a great time...

i just just returned from paris on the eurostar.nice clean train, and booked seats are a bonus,so no hunting for a seat.the food was a bit pricey, but i made up my own rolls and drink and found that best.northern belgium is by far the best place to visit.the people are friendly and willing to help you.

depends which bit you go to, the flemish in the north are very nice, they are like the dutch and we all like the dutch but the wallonians (if that is even a word) in the south are french speaking, rude and arrogant people, which we don't like.

Brussels and Bruge are nice cities, well worth a visit and they have some nice countryside. Overall i would say a good country to go to for a long weekend but no longer.

As for going on eurostar, im not sure how its done. We took our car through the tunnel to somewhere in northern france (near dunkirk i think it was) and that was quite easy and quick

Euro star i did not travel with
Belgium is a very beautiful country . In the north there is the Flemish part . This part is more flat.Brugge (little Vinice), Antwerp ,Gent are very good city's to visit .You can ask for a guide there.
In the south , the French part. Its more green and mountains.Durbye a little city , you must see. there are a lot of beautiful places more, but i don't know them all.
Brussel , the capital city , a lot to see. Dont forget "manneke pis" and the market place.
The Belgien people are friendly people.

Brussels & Brugge are good places to go by Eurostar

Depends on your budget and especially the time of year. My last trip to Belgium was 20 yrs ago so I can't give insite. I was in France, Spain, Italy, and Tunisia last year and Europe seemed to be doing well.

rue
depends what part of belgium you go to, i like it there, especially brugge and brussels. and i didnt like the euro star, id rather go by boat. xx

(Persepolis)
i have driven there with my family, so i suppose that it should be equally as fun by train. getting that within 1 hour lol. enjoy.

Yes I was years ago a frequent traveler by Euro star, best book yourt tickets way in advance cheaper.

Belgium, well good for food, drinks and we have the best museums in the world.
Politics and living is here very bad, the worst in whole Europe, and I saw a lot of Europe in my life..

I had a ticket to travel on Eurostar and then the day I was due to travel I was informed that the service had been down graded. I ended up being pushed along in a shopping trolley by an overweight and frankly ugly Dutch man. It took well over 3 days to make the trip. I was offered no refund and sleeping in the trolley was very uncomfortable. I still write to Arjen every now and again. Belgium was a little boring to be honest. Enjoy your trip
