Barış (Peace, this is pretty as well)
Bilge (wise)
Derin (deep)
Görkem (magnificence)

Tutku (passion)
Suriyah: You're right but actually some Turkish names are based on Arabic names (of course) but have been turkified, the officer of registry will not accept a foreign name in its original form, you have to turkify it first. It's in the constitution and unless you find a very loose officer, you'd have to change it (for example Mohammed becomes Mahmut, Ahmet, it's a long story on Turkish grammar and phonetics, Alise becomes Alize, Clara, Klara, etc.). So basically as long as you turkify its phonetics you can choose any name you want.
Hope this helps! |

Ikra should be rare. Never heard of it. Besides, it sounds like the Arabic word Ikrah, which the dictionary says means to be disgusted.
I like names from the nature. Like, Mine (Mee-neh), a tiny wild flower, Deniz (Deh-neez), the sea. Mine is a girl's name and Deniz is unisex. Also, when I was a child, I had named my doll Güneş, the sun. This also is a unisex name. |
