Does it have a step up converter? You will probably need to buy a converter if it does not have one. Simply attaching a piece to allow it to fit will not work because our voltage is too low to power any of your devices.
here are a few links to some pages with step up converters

If you really want to be sure go to your local electronics dealer and they should be able to direct you in your purchase. |

In North America, we use 120VAC, 60Hz. You guys use 220VAC, 50Hz. |

Voltage is 110v in USA so as long as your appliances are dual voltage or can handle voltage range 110v - 220v - A USA two pin adaptor should be OK |

USA are 110 volts compared to UK 240 Volts so ensure any appliances are 110-240 Volt compatible |

Be very careful, a lot of these 'adapters' are sold misleadingly.
They appear to be voltage converters (transformers) but are really only straight through connectors which do not alter the voltage.
If you try and use them you can damage the appliance and injure yourself.
Make sure you a get a proper converter from a reputable supplier.

US voltage is 110V 60Hz. We use a two spade plug, sometimes with a third ground pin. The spades are flat, not round like in Europe. Generally speaking you see outlets that look the one on the link below. |
