WHY so many people always judge other people on physical criterions ? Why don't they respect fat people ?

That is huge, but i lost the weight, am now around 10 stone, without surgery. Encourage your fat mates to lose weight and being fit!

maybe it isn't because of your weight, the employee might just have been rude or preoccupied. Keep in mind that almost everyone is a little judgemental, its part of our culture. as long as you and other overweight people are respectable and kind then maybe that social stigma will change.

Not everyone has to be slim and handsome, but fatness is gross. After all, a slug presumably has some merits, but that does not mean that I like its appearance.
I have nothing against fat people in particular, but I do not reply to anyone who comes out with havernizations.

It's not always about weight, but yes, some people can be cruel and judgemental. But sometimes those people in the stores dont talk to skinny people either.

If peeps are un-kind and rude to me, it just makes me respond by being ultra polite back! (They don't know how to respond, they're obviously expecting a lil domestic)! Common courtesy and respect are no longer encouraged and instilled!

i blame the media. they make it seem as if a person that is over weight has some terrible disease and that other people should should work their hardest not to get that way. i think that if the media started showing overweight people in a different light society would realize that we really are people too. we just have a little extra padding. which is good to have in case you fall a lot and that i do.

Good luck. Humans, by nature, are a visual species. Appearance is usually the first thing a person notices, and judges another person by. It is unfortunate, I know, but in a lot of cases unavoidable. That is why I have such respect for people that are blind. They have to rely on everything but sight to judge a person by.

is about the culture ,and moral behaviours like in my country the slim people are one which are discriminated and fatter one is jugde that are one with wealth like money haves,which is not true..

people who have attitude against fat people will have the same to all kind of people. It is only because they are not sure of themselves. I think the fat people are more kind and softer in heart than many. I am not saying they are different than ordinary people because who is to say who is an ordinary people. Nobody is alike.
I have a friend who has a wife and a 4 kids. when I go for a visit I say where is rest of the family and they all say *we are here *peeping from behind him. despite of his size I have plenty room in my heart for him as a best friend.

My x is now 21 stone I've seen him sit and cry because he can't get rid of the weight. He has a bad heart and won't live much longer if he doesn't lose weight yet he still eats all the wrong food and to much of it. I think some people really haven't got a choice they just can't help themselves. I've noticed that it's the overweight people that will make a comment about others their size. Is it because they just don't see how big they are themselves. Maybe your looking for negative reactions from other! If you are your always going to find them. The next time you feel you've been treated badly just tell yourself it's because the person has much worse problems than you could ever have or they're just void of all compassion. I'd rather be over weight than have no compassion for others. Try asking them if you've done something to upset them. I bet they'll think twice about doing the same to the next big person that speaks to them. Some people don't even realise they've been hurtful and rude they're the sad ones. What goes around comes around. In ten years time it might be 10 stone that's come around!!

Mocking decent people for any so-called reason is normally a result of low or no self-esteem on the part of the mocker. Youngsters are often pleasant only to those they
want to get on. Or if they're scared of you.
Maybe lose some weight if you want to---do it for you.
Try switching to diet soda-I'm not kidding--it makes a difference and isn't too hard to implement.

Un fair attitude toward fat peoples is because fat peoples do not respect their self, no exercise, eats a lot like bull, thatâ€™s why peoples do not respect fats. If a person naturally fat that is another matter but by excersing they can also change their looks but this way they have to do a lot of wok.

Honestly I think its a personal problem. If they havent got the respect to answer you with courtesy its problems at home that may affect their working commitments.

In the past I became arrogant towards people who use un-educated words. I had a doctors appointment and she didnt turn up to the meeting, in the mean time i was very sick with a child. Her receptionist told me a unbelievable story, rescheduled my appointment and I became angry. I simply shouted "Why dont you tell the truth her husband has left her and she hasnt arrived at work!" to my amazement the receptionist looked at me very confused and apologised. I stormed out and blamed her personal problems and appointed another doctor. For once I was actually right.

I dont think its cos your'e fat, some people find that attractive. I think people who do not practice common courtesy have a low self esteem or they see you as a threat to their position in employment. or maybe they just havnt had sex for a while.

I'm not sure your point is 100 per cent true as people are generally impolite to me in shops yet I am underweight not overweight. If your point is true though I think that giving people the impression that being fat is bad isn't such a bad idea. If you just say that being fat is fine then society will learn to accept it as the norm and people will generally become more obese and die younger. If you take the average smoker for example. They will soon be forced by law to smoke outside as people won't accept it due to health reasons. You have the choice to lose weight just as a smoker has the choice to quit. We are all controlled by people, you have the choice of living how you like or conforming to fit in.
