Ahh, how to even begin describing Poland.....
Poland has mingled with everything in my life since I was born. I was raised on strong Polish traditions (not to mention food!) and am very proud of my country. I have been there four times and am also going on Sunday to visit my Grandma. Poland is such a beautiful country. The air is fresh and the landscape is a crisp change of scenery. The life there is simple yet bustling with excitement. I am proud to say that I am 100% Polish and love it! |

1 No
2 No
3 Polish people are extraordinarily open, friendly and honest. And some of them have sapphire blue eyes to die for.
4 One half of a million Polish people - mainly civilian - lost their lives during WWII for the defence of Warsaw alone.
5 My dad (not Polish) was there for some of the action. He held Polish people in the highest regard. And that's no **** - he's Welsh and hates just about everyone else.
6 I guess your're Polish. Stop looking for some kind of reassurance and start walking with pride. |

I have lived here for over seven years now after I met my Polish girlfriend (wife now) in London where I was working for Lloyds of London. I moved here because my wife didn’t want to move to England and be apart from her family and I must say it was the best choice I have ever made. Polish families are very close and the support that we get from her family is amazing; I suppose that is religion for you at least that is the case for my wife and her family. Personally it’s not my cup of tea!! :o)
Now we have a five-year-old daughter and to be honest I don’t think I will ever move back until she is old enough to care for herself, because the education system here is much better than the UK and getting better.
I have a business here as well and I think it is easier for a Brit to make a living and provide a good life for his family than bashing your head against the wall in the UK. |

I love it i was born in the US but my parents were born and lived in Poland its very beautiful. It angers me that Poland is trying to change into a second America though. 2 summers ago I went to a wedding there everyone got drunk of course it was funny. I am in like a Polish dance group and it is sooo fun I luv it plus everyone has the same funny polish born parents and everyone is so close its great we have lots of fun |

poland is a beautiful country. i have never been there, however i am moving to suwalki, then warsaw. i hope poland can get out of its economic slump due to it's long stay in the ussr. most of the talent there is leaving to other EU countries for the hope of better jobs. shame. |

I didn't think much of Warsaw: too big and very dirty. Southern Poland is great, however. Really liked Wroslov ( spelled that wrong, sorry). Went to Auschwitz (every living person on the planet should go there to see what a terrible thing the Holocaust was. Present government is fascist. People are nice. Roads are bad. Drivers worse. |

I haven't been to Poland so I don't know what to say and all the people I know from there are computer obsessed nerds. |

I wouldn't go there with any car licensed to any richer western European country nor I wouldn't go there with more than 50 euros in my pocket. I'm too afraid of the Mexican culture :( |
